More Star Alliance Options to Maldives – Turkish Starts Flying Istanbul–Male

Maldives is one of those dream holiday and honeymoon destinations for many. It is somewhat difficult to get into, however, using miles & points. It will become bit easier later this year when Turkish Airlines, Istanbul based Star Alliance carrier, starts Istanbul – Male service five times a week beginning on November according to a post by AirlineRoute.net.

Currently Male is served by two Star Alliance carriers Singapore Airlines and Austrian. Swiss’s Edelweiss subsidiary also flies there from Zurich.
