You need to complete 4 stays within 90 days after registering for this promotion. The Gold status will be valid until the end of 2014 per the terms and conditions of this offer (likely until March 2015).

Hilton has extended this fast track offer for Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers, but anybody can register for it at Hilton.com. All you need to do is to sign up for an account, if you already don’t have one, and register it for this promotion. Alternatively, you can call Hilton HHonors customer service and request them to add promotion CFTE to your account.

The Hilton Gold normally requires 20 stays or 40 nights during the calendar year, so this offer is very generous.

Conclusion

Even if Hilton wouldn’t be you first choice of hotel chains, having some status with them is definitely worthwhile. Getting status using this expedited offer is very easy and you can keep it for two years.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

Member must register or enroll by 12/31/2013. Member must complete four qualifying stays within 90 days of registration or enrollment. Offer available only to Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers and is not transferable. If applicable, Booking must be made through designated online booking tool. Once a member reaches Gold status, the Member may keep such status for the calendar year in which the Gold status was earned and the subsequent calendar year. Full details of Gold Member status will be mailed to the member upon attaining the tier level. This offer may be terminated without notice. Hilton HHonors™ membership, earning of Points & Miles and redemption of Points are subject to HHonors Terms and Conditions. ©2011 Hilton Worldwide.

Does this mean that combined with the 40% off weekend offer, if you stay 2 nights counts as a double credit for status, ie could this offer and 2 x 2 night stays get you Gold.?

That is an interesting question and I don’t have definite answer. Send an email to gold@hilton.com and ask for clarification.

Does this work for requalification if you currently have Gold but will lose it March of this year?

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

You can always call and see if they are willing to enroll you. If not, you can always open a new account and later merge the accounts.

You will likely be eligible for this offer ONCE your status has been downgraded. You can already start up with a new account and later merge your old then non-status account to your new Gold one after doing the four required stays.

If you stay 6 reward nights and 3 paid nights, would that county as your 9 nights? Or do the 9-nights have to be paid nights?

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

That is a good question and I don’t have a confirmed answer. Is it possible for you to have the paid nights one by one at A-B-A or at separate properties? Then you would have for sure at least 3 stays that would count.

If applicable, Booking must be made through designated online booking tool.

means only booking through CWT search engine will count for this challenge?

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

Nah. All stays have counted for these fast track offers as long as they are point qualifying. Meaning that they have been booked on Hilton’s website.

“4 stays” simply means checking in and checking out of Hilton Brands hotels 4 times with rates not booked on 3 party websites (Priceline, Expedia, etc.)

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

      Correct.

  • Fredrik

Can anyone join and get gold after 4 stays? I mean, how do they check if you are a Carlson Wagonlit Travel customer? I guess same question on the MVP offer.

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

Impossible. Just sign up and do the stays.

      • Fredrik

Ok, perfect. I singed up on the MVP offer and booked a stay tomorrow. Should I be able to see in my HHonors account that I have signed up for this? I dont…

        • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

The status tracker has shown the smaller number of stays required to Gold that reflects this promotion.

I clicked the link to the offer but gave me an error. I looked for this on Hilton’s website but couldn’t find it. Is this offer over? The terms and conditions say “Members must register by 12/31/2013″ so I would think there is still time to sign up. Help?

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

Hilton did some web work and there are lot of links that are not currently resolving correctly on Hilton’s website. I will have an update once I have the alternate address for the MVP website.

In the meantime, you can contact Hilton HHonors by email or phone and request them to add the CFTE to your account.

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

I have now updated the link.

  • Kari Sjöblom

I am going to stay in Hilton Shenzhen for nearly 30 days – but that is not the same as 4 stays – have I understand this right ?

    • http://loyaltylobby.com/ John O.

Correct. Can’t you break it up and stay at some other Hilton property in between as well?
