Club Carlson sent out bunch of emails yesterday with account balances etc. Some of you got an email with an offer for 10K Club Carlson bonus points for a stay by March 27, 2013. Note that this offer is only available for those that received the email.
It is not uncommon for hotel loyalty programs to send out offer for members that have not used their chain for a while. Starwood is especially active on this front. It must be cheaper trying to get an already member to start staying again compared trying to woo a new member.
It always pays to glance through the emails that you receive from hotels & airlines. They sometimes contain these reactivation offers.
Here are the terms and conditions of this reactivation offer:
To qualify for a single, one-time 10,000 bonus Gold Points® award (“Bonus Points”), Club Carlson members invited to participate by email must book, pay for, and complete a Gold Point eligible stay at a participating Radisson®, Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM, Park Inn by Radisson and Park Plaza® hotel by March 27, 2013 (“Eligible Stay”). Members must provide their Club Carlson member account number at the time of reservation or check-in to receive the Bonus Points. Bonus Points for the Eligible Stay will be posted to the member’s account 6-8 weeks after completion of the Eligible Stay. Offer is valid only to the email recipient, is non-transferable, and may not be resold. Offer is subject to all Club Carlson terms and conditions. Club Carlson reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue without notice. Void where prohibited by law. By participating in this Promotion, you agree and consent to these terms and conditions.
