Choice Privileges just announced their summer 2013 promotion for total of 8000 points for two stays between May 23 and August 31, 2013. You can register for this promotion here.
Choice advertises this as a $50 gift card after two stays, but they actually just deposit enough points to your account to be able to redeem for a $50 gift card with select retailers until November 1, 2013.
Note that a stay is defined at least two or more consecutive nights at the following Choice brands: Econo Lodge, Rodeway Inn, Suburban Extended Stay, or MainStay Suites. At all other Choice brands, a stay can be just one night.
Here’s the list of gift card options for this promotion:
U.S. Resident Options
On The Border
Canada Resident Options
Petro Canada Gift Card
This is very typical Choice promotion, although they try to spin it as a gift card one. You can just keep the points and use them for hotel awards.
