Hyatt and MGM made an agreement for reciprocal elite benefits and for the ability to earn and burn points at each others properties. You can read more about this partnership here.
The programs would match each others tiers and this functionality has now been enabled. Hyatt Gold Passport members at the base level are matched to Mlife Sapphire, Platinum members to Mlife Gold, and Diamond members to Mlife Platinum.
You first have to sign in at the Hyatt’s website and it then takes you to finalize the registration on Mlife’s website. I gave up at this point because it seemed to take quite a bit of time and I have no plans to visit Las Vegas anytime soon, as I have been there many times (and not really a destination for me).
Friend of mine received the Mlife Noir status by attending to the Hyatt/Mlife launch event in Las Vegas last month. He wasn’t overly excited about the Noir benefits that hehad received earlier this month for his stays at MGM properties.
