Can the Marriott Rewards Promotion For New Members (Free Night Certificate after 2 stays) can be combined with referral program to Marriott Rewards ?

    • It is either or. These two cannot be combined.

  • Devin

So two stays would equate to 4 nights total?

    • Stay can be just one night.

      • Devin

Thanks for the reply, John. I was just a bit confused by the fine print wording:
A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity.

        • Because some may think that they can have two stays by checking out and then back in for the same hotel on consecutive nights. You can do night on day 1 and then another one on day 3 and that’s two stays and a free night cert.

John, I am new to this. Just wanted to confirm with you, so “two stay” cannot be a consecutive nights? It must be two separate stay ?

          • vincent

John, just my though. So if i am going spend 3 nights in Marriott hotel. First night and third night I book with my Marriott account, the second night I just book from Agoda, That is quality for the free night right?

          • if you are traveling with someone else, book the second night under his/her name. Could be under his/her Marriott account. Just make sure that they properly check you out and don’t combine/link the stays.

          • They cannot be consecutive nights at the same property. You can have Monday night at Marriott property 1 and Tuesday night at Marriott property 2.

Could this promotion be expired? I can’t seem to access it. Or is it geo-located?

  • dude26

It does not seem to state a cut off date for enrolling as a new member?…any thoughts on until when I could wait off enrolling?

    • Impossible to say how long this promotion is going to run. Marriott has had similar promotions in the past, but they have usually been available only in certain markets such as Asia.

    Is this offer still available?

    • Shows up just fine for me. Just open the link in “private browser”. It might be the case that you don’t see the offer if you have Marriott cookie in your browser.

Hi John, I’m wondering if this promotion could combine together with this coming promotion Mega Bonus 2014 “http://www.marriott.com/rewards/promotion.mi?promotion=MS14” Stay 2 nights, earn free night a category 1-4 hotel.

    • You can if you are not yet a Marriott Rewards member.
