The Iberia.com award search is not very good, so I used BA’s one instead. I was able to locate days where business class award seats were available and then pull up the price on Iberia’s website.

The award discount prices just fine and Iberia has rather reasonable fuel surcharge on award tickets that would be 70 euros in this instance.

Conclusion

Iberia has many promotions for earning and burning Avios that are best suited for those that can use them from Europe. You can always transfer British Airways Avios to your Iberia Plus account once it has been open for couple of months.

Targeted? Wasn’t in the newsletter I received (low on points) and the URL says “Access restricted” when not logged in.
It wasn’t mentioned but the price is for one-way only, right?

Just log in first and then copy paste the link. You will see the promo page then. Yes. The price is for oneway.

It isn’t targeted. This is Iberia we’re talking about! They used their newsletter to promote an old offer (the US one) and didn’t bother mentioning this. However, if you followed the link in the newsletter to the US offer then there was a link to this on the landing page.

A LoyaltyLobby reader sent me the link. The Iberia’s website is really confusing.
