Grand Hyatt Bangkok Staycation Offer Until May 5, 2014

Bangkok is slowly getting back to (semi) normal after all the protests and hotels are desperate for business.

EDIT: You can pull up these rates using but you must input the BKK02 to the GROUP CODE field.

Hyatt Grand Hyatt Bangkok Erewan Offer

The Hyatt affiliated Grand Hyatt Bangkok has just sent out an mail with a very good offer for stays until May 5, 2014.

You can access Grand Hyatt Bangkok’s website here.

The offer includes 9AM and 9PM check in/out, 1000 THB credit, daily breakfast and 50% discount off of Hyatt daily rate for the second room.

I tried to use Hyatt.bomb to book this rate using the BKK02 offer code.

But never found any availability.

Offer like this is fairly typical for hotels in Bangkok. They don’t want to lower the headline price at all even during very low occupancy, but rather do targeted offers such as this.

Hello, John. This offer is unfortunately for Thai residents only. 🙁

    Here is T&C.

    Terms and Conditions:
Offer is valid for stays February 10, 2014 through May 5, 2014 at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok and is subject to availability. Offer is available to residents of Thailand and a proof of residency must be presented at check-in. Rate is based on double occupancy. Extra charges apply to additional guests. Price quoted in Thai Baht and is subject to a 10% service charge and 7% VAT. Additional family room for children does not include THB1,000 hotel credit. • Just take a Thai friend with you when checking in! Problem solved.

I visit Bangkok usually 4 times a year. One of my friends owns a condo there so I use his condo as an address if any place requires me to provide a local address. In any case, I just stayed for a week using this offer (I found out about the offer about 2 weeks ago), and when I checked in, the staff did not asked for any sort of ID’s or proofs. Your experience may vary. The rate is stay/nights and points eligible (confirmed), so I would book the stay using the rate and print out the platinum/diamond 20% off as a backup. BTW, they renovated the Club lounge and it is pleasant. The only thing I drink besides water is sparkling water (Perrier, S. Pellegrino) but they don’t stock sparkling water after 7pm, which seemed strange to me (unlike the Grand Hyatt Macau I was in that had sparkling there from open until closing).

    • Thanks! It is very good rate offer for this property considering the very early check in/late checkout + the 1K THB credit.
