This offer allows targeted members to earn a 50% bonus for all Bonus Points Package stays for three month period.

Conclusion

You can often purchase a bonus points to go with your stays by paying a higher nightly price. These usually only make sense for those on expense accounts, but sometimes they are competitively priced and they are base point qualifying for earning Gold/Platinum elite status.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

To qualify to receive your bonus you must book a Bonus Points Package between 4/15/14 and 7/15/14. After qualifying, please allow 4 weeks for bonus points to post to your account. 50% bonus is based on points member earns from Bonus Points Package rate only. To be eligible for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. This one-time bonus offer is valid only for members who are recipients of this email.

Must be an IHG® Rewards Club member or enroll prior to stay. Rooms are available at participating InterContinental Hotels Group (InterContinental®, Crowne Plaza®, Hotel Indigo®, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, Staybridge Suites® and Candlewood Suites®) hotels in select destinations around the world. Rates are limited and subject to availability. Bonus points or miles will be awarded upon the terms of the Bonus Points Package and completion of stay. Only one member per room will be awarded the applicable bonus points or miles. You must be a miles collector with a preferred earning alliance within your IHG® Rewards Club member account in order to collect miles for staying at InterContinental Hotels Group properties. ** If you are a miles collector, please see chart below for mile conversions.     Hi John in relation to rewards club bonus points, I still have not been awarded my elite qualifying points, please read below the responses I have been getting from IHG.

    We apologize for the confusion regarding the Terms and Conditions under points for elite status. Please be informed that the base points earned from Qualifying Rates paid for hotel stays, points collected from partner transactions, Meeting Rewards including the IHG® Rewards Club Bonus Points Packages are considered Elite Qualifying Points and counted towards membership elite status. Therefore, the rate that you’ve booked during the stay in question is under Bonus Points Packages and are eligible towards Elite Qualifying Points. We hope this clarifies your query.
