Le Club Accorhotels has new very good offer for total of 8,000 bonus points for just 3 stays between September 16 and December 31, 2014.

Le Club Accorhotels 8,000 Bonus Points Offer Fall 2014

All you need to do is to register for this offer and book between September 16 and October 5, 2014.

You can make your bookings on Accor’s website here and register for this offer here.

The number of bonus points that you earn is staggered by the table below:

– your 1st stay earns you 1,000 points in addition to your usual points,
– your 2nd stay earns you 3,000 points in addition to your usual points,
– your 3rd stay earns you 4,000 points in addition to your usual points.

Conclusion

This is a very generous offer from Le Club Accorhotels that I plan to take advantage of before the end of the year, although they have very lucrative offers out there with both Lufthansa’s Miles&More (access here) and with Airberlin’s Topbonus (access here).

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

1. General Conditions of Use of the Le Club Accorhotels programme apply to the “Receive up to €160 in points” offer.
2. To enjoy this offer, the Le Club Accorhotels loyalty programme member must sign up by clicking on the “Sign up for the offer” button above and then follow the instructions.
3. The offer is only valid once for 3 stays per member during the offer duration, for stays between 16/09/2014 and 31/12/2014 in hotels participating in the Le Club Accorhotels programme, booked between 16/09/2014 and 05/10/2014. Stays cannot be concurrent.
4. The points bonus is calculated based on Classic status, not counting points accelerators.
5. The offer enables Le Club Accorhotels loyalty programme and Accor Advantage Plus members, regardless of their status, to receive up to €160 in points for stays in hotels participating in the Le Club Accorhotels programme throughout the world.
6. 2,000 points are equivalent to €40. Points are converted into euros; amounts indicated in local currency are not legally binding and are subject to change.

9. Le Club Accorhotels bonus points will be credited onto the member’s account within 28 days following departure from the hotel.

11. The offer cannot be combined with any other Le Club Accorhotels promotional offers and does not apply to groups.
12. Offer subject to conditions and availability. Sales conditions of reserved public rates specific to each hotel apply.

  • What about T&C – there is info that you can combine it with other promo’s. If there is early reserve offer -30% it’s ok for this offer or not?

    • I have the same question. I assume that if I pay with points it’s not valid, but the T&C not are clear.

      • Mike Dos Santos

        Hi Carlos!

I always wonder why people want to use their points in
Accorhotels instead of exchanging them for a voucher. The value is just the same, with a little, BUT SIGNIFICANT difference…

Once occur a problem with your booking, you have to cancel or whatever, you have to wait long time for your points to come back into your account, if not lost at all. If you instead book a normal paid rate (except of prepaid – which mostly also are not able to redeem for points) and show up with the vouchers you wont loose your points (or the value of them) if you need to cancel.

But to reply for you, your stay with points would count. Even more if you would pay with the hotel vouchers from LeClub.

        • My bad, I was talking about vouchers, not made a reservation with points.

Fully agree with you, vouchers rules!

        • Shin

But, don’t vouchers expire in 3 months if not used ? So if I have to cancel my trip and not use my voucher in the 3 months, won’t I lose my points ?

          • Mike Dos Santos

Shin, vouchers are valid for 6 month. However, you are not forced to request a voucher before you are leaving for your trip. They are available instantly, so it don’t takes time to get them once you are “on your way”.

Fact is, I know many people who had troubles to get their points refunded after they had canceled their trips. That’s why I prefer the vouchers. And I recommend to use them for anyone who is asking me for advise. Furthermore, your credits from the vouchers are good for ANY KIND of expenses in the hotels, like food, minibar, laundry, internet, telephone, spa treatments, whatever you charge to your room account you can pay with the vouchers.

    • Should be combinable as long as you book within the specified dates.

    • Mike Dos Santos

      Pawel, good evening!

You can take advantage of promo rates!

  • Anirban Mukherjee

Is this valid on existing reservations?

    • There is booking window requirement as well that I have listed above.

      • leo

Check: 1 stay = 4 night stay ibis.

        1 stay = 1 nights sofitel

    • Mike Dos Santos

      No, Anirban.

But you could try (first check the rate with the hotel) to cancel your reservation and make a new one, so it will count.

  • V M

Does it mean that all 3 reservations must be made before 05/10/2014 or just the first one?

  • aaron

i am new with leclub….can I earn the Lufthansa miles and at the same time this bonus points.? leclub is complicated…..as I need to set autoconversion to miles and more

    • To earn miles you must have the direct conversion enabled that will convert all the points coming from stays to miles. These shouldn’t be mutually exclusive offers.

      • picktan

they actually are as per the T&Cs which state this offer cannot be combined with any other alc offer

        • Programs often have these stipulations but whether they are actually enforced/programmed is entirely different matter

  • Guest

    Will the points

  • Fuquan Wang

Will the booking with points be counted towards this bonus offer? Of course, some of the amount will be paid in cash and earn base points.

    • No personal experience how Le Club counts partial award stays. Maybe someone else can chime in?

      • I have pay with voucher several times. The quantity that remains, (paid with cash) are able to generate points.

        • Mike Dos Santos

Carlos, I never had a case where a hotel didn’t credit the points of the full statement, no matter which form of “payment” I was using. F.ex. Room is 85 Euros and I paid with 2 vouchers and 5 Euros cash, the credit was equal to 85 Euros!

          • I have checked my history account, you are right.

    • Mike Dos Santos

      Hi!

      • Lim Wei Jie

for countries not using Euro, there’s still a significant difference when ones opt to use the voucher, The EXCHANGE rate of the hotel!! which is usually terribly low compare with official rate.

        • Mike Dos Santos

Yes, Lim, this, if you don’t know the facts. But, in the same way, did you ever checked the exchange rate for those 2000 point discount to rate packages?

By the way, as you can see in the screenshot attached, Le Club CS on Facebook affirms that the property takes currency data from a specific database. If the hotel don’t do so, just open a claim regarding this issue.

          Link to currency data:
          https://www.multidevises.com/cours_change/fixage.jsp

          Screenshot translation:
“But if you want we can direct you to the bank Natixis, because the exchange rate applied by the property at time of check-out is taken from the database “Multidevises” (Bank of monetary and financial data of the Bank Natixis).”

          • Lim Wei Jie

Thanks Mike for your clarification, as I stay mostly with Hilton and Marriott (as I am their Gold Elite) so I have little knowledge about the voucher issue, By the way, the link you provide me works just I don’t know how to check with it (language barrier).
            Thanks Anyway.

      • Phong Huynh

Oh wow ok, so even the Formule1 hotels are good for this offer???

        • Mike Dos Santos

I made an update. Formule 1 don’t participate in Le Club, so you can’t earn points and therefore also no bonus.

          • Eunice

            How about All Seasons??

          • They definitely do.

          • Mike Dos Santos

Hello Eunice! Try to contact an All Seasons hotel, becuase I am not sure about it. However, if you had a stay before and you received points with Le Club I suppose they are taking part of it, but on the site of Le Club they don’t talk about All Seasons.

          • Formule 1 hotels are not Le Club Accorhotels participating so obviously not for this promo either.

      • josmon10

French Ibis on weekdays are now eligible, aren’t they?

        • Yes.

        • Mike Dos Santos

Hi! I am not 100% sure about it, try to contact an ibis, if you are in France, or the Customer Service.

  • kwoat

does a booking at ibis budget apply?

    • Mike Dos Santos

Hi! As you can see in my other reply, ibis budget hotels are not part of the Le Club. Therefore you can’t credit points into the Le Club Account and Le Club won’t know you have been stayed there to honor the promo.

  • Artur

What does it mean “Stays cannot be concurrent”? What about 3 reservations in 3 different hotels, but made day by day (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Do they count for this promo as 3 stays?

    • It means that you cannot have back to back concurrent stays at the same hotel. Your scenario would be just fine.

      • william

Hi there, I thought ‘concurrent’ means if you book more than 1 room on the same date, then this will count as one stay. I posted above just now and wanted to clarify is it possible to make two separate booking, one for fri – sat and the other for sat – sun, and check out on sat morning, check in again sat night at the same hotel and count as two stays? This is classed as consecutive stays but not concurrent…….

  • Joe

Are “Happy Mondays” rates likely to count?

    • Mike Dos Santos

I never heard of this rate, but if you pay it at the hotel and can reserve it through Accorhotels.com and it isn’t any of the excepted hotels (see my other reply), it surely would count.

  • Sharon

Hi there, I am in Australia and have been having a private Facebook discussion with Le Club Accorhotels regarding which rates are eligible for this offer. My question to them was – are stays booked using the “Red Hot Rooms” rate within the eligibility period eligible for this promotion?.Their reply was NO! They say that condition 11 in the T&Cs, that this offer cannot be combined with any other promotion means that we can’t book using this rate. When I rang Australian Member Services, they were confused also, but believe the Red Hot Rooms bookings should be eligible. Who do I believe? I don’t want to book cheap rooms only to find out they weren’t eligible when it’s too late to change them. Please help!!

    • I would say that all Le Club Accorhotels rates that earn points are eligible. There are rates such as the travel industry ones that are not eligible for points and this won’t earn anything under this offer.

      • Sharon

        Thanks John.

  • Guest

do you have to book a “refundable” or “non-refundable” rate?
    or doen’t it matter?

After registering, I received a confirmation e-mail stating that I had signed up for the “LCAH September Offer”, which I guess, means “Le Club AccorHotels…”. But they have other current promos around. Did you all get the same message? Thanks.

    • Guido

      I got the same message.

  • Seles

I just had a mail from accor saying it’s not too late to book yet, offer seems to be extended to bookings before 15/10. (I have 2 qualifying reservations pending)
