Hilton HHonors has extended the 2,000 bonus points per night offer that is valid at all Conrad and Waldorf-Astoria hotels worldwide until December 31, 2015.

Hilton HHonors Conrad Waldorf Astoria 2,000 Bonus Points Per Night January 1 - December 31 2015

The good thing about this bonus point offer is that it is applicable to both award and paid nights.

You can access and register for this offer here.

Note that, although the terms and conditions state that this would be a targeted offer, anyone has been able to register for it and get the bonus points associated with the offer.

This is a good offer that works in addition to the all other bonus offers Hilton might be having at the time of your stay. I wrote about my experience of stacking four separate bonus offers that includes this one as well (read more here).

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

Offer is valid for recipient of this email only and is non-transferable. Offer valid for stays booked and completed between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2015 (“Promotional Period”), at participating Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts or Conrad Hotels & Resorts. Bonus Points earned on Base Points do not count toward Elite tier qualification. Please allow six to eight weeks from completion of your stay for points to appear in your Hilton HHonors™ account. Offer is not transferable and cannot be combined with other select offers

  • I could be wrong, but I understand this promotion has now changed to an escalating “up to 10,000” points – 2000 for your first stay, 3000 for your second and 5000 for your third. Closing date 31 December 2015.

    • There are two separate offers just like last year. I will have the other one up tomorrow.

      • Stuart L

I followed your link and got the escalating offer too, maybe it’s a location thing ? I’m in the UK

        • My apologize. I have now fixed the link.

          • DCS

Now the “fixed” link leads to nowhere!

          • Just checked and the link resolves just fine for me. Try another browser.

FYI…the link you have posted is for the escalating offer, and not for the 2K per night one.

Quick question: I already completed this offer last year staying in Conrad more than 3 times. If I complete my first 3 stays in Conrad again starting Jan this year, do I get 10,000 points again??

    • There are two separate offers and I had mistakenly wrong link up. I will have a post about the offer you are referring to in couple of hours.

Waldorf Astoria may not be honoring Hilton Diamond requests.

This hotel is presumably part of the Hilton chain. Diamond members of Hilton honors have access to the executive lounge if available. We had used this hotel and lounge a few years ago, we needed meeting workspace in NY, so I contacted them again.

The reservation department told me that they upgrade “all the time” for diamond members. Two hours before checking in, I called to make sure about the lounge. I was told that access was given only to rooms at the tower, and these were NOT available. My wife called up independently to book a room at the towers with lounge access, and she was told that rooms WERE available. When we arrived, the hotel manager said that rooms were available, but they would not honor the diamond benefit. For lounge access, we would have to pay $350 per night!

We tried to call another Hilton, but could not get reasonably priced reservations at the last minute. Loss of lounge access cost us money, time, and inconvenience. We also relocated a dinner that would have added to the hotel’s revenue.

I sent a message to senior manager Mr. Tom Long about the issue, but I heard absolutely nothing back. We were simply ignored.

We were also misled about an upgraded room for diamond members. The night manager insisted we should get the entitled benefit. However, when we entered, we found a standard small room with worn carpets. We pointed that out and we were told that the upgrade consists of a corner location! We asked to trade coffeemate packets for actual milk and were told that a small cup would cost $5.

It seems that enough tourists visit this hotel and may not be repeat customers. So there is no need to honor Hilton agreements.

If you want to see this old hotel, just walk around and go stay elsewhere. Next time we used a Marriott and got our work done very well.
