NOTE: You must have your Le Club Accorhotels account address set in Sweden, Finland, Norway or Denmark (at least for the duration of this promotion).

EDIT: If you have made prior bookings for this time period that were not done under the other bonus points offers that Accor has run, you may be able to change the effective booking date by using the online check in (read more here) that could be in your advantage in this case.

Here’s how the points stack up:

1. First stay of two nights or longer 1,000 bonus points

2. Second stay of two or longer 2,000 bonus points

Remember that all the points earned including bonuses count towards the Silver/Gold/Platinum status with Le Club Accorhotels.

If your are willing to stay at Ibis hotels for total of six nights ( three times two nights), the bonus points earned under this promotion can “pay” for the stays (if you stay at one of the cheaper ones).

Unfortunately: “This offer is only valid for members resident in Sweden, Denmark, Norway or Finland.”

    • Which I have fully disclosed above in BOLD.

if I temporarily change my address during this period, will the points be credited to my account?

        • Accor doesn’t know where you live. They only know where your account address is. I would leave the address to a Scandi one for few months.

  • Ramitran

OMG yesterday booked flights just outside of staying window. Hopefully they will extend the stay window for couple of weeks at least.

Hi John, thank you for sharing this interessting offer! Is there any chance to get points for stays already booked before? Do you sugest using the online checkin?

    • As long as the online trick changes the booking date, definitely yes.

  • Sara Hashimoto

Hi, thank you for the good news. This can be combined with other bonus points offer?

    • As long as the promos post ok, you can.I wrote piece about this earlier.

  • Highflyer

Hi, does anyone has experience by changing the account temporarily. Is there no risk to lose the account with all the points?

    • I would leave the account in the Scandinavian address for few months after you have completed the promotion.

      • Gringuito

Is there any risk in having registered for the promo with an address outside those countries and having corrected the address afterwards?

  • FairiesWearBoots

    Hi John,
Did you notice that the terms and conditions say: “1 stay of…”; “2 stays of…” and “3 stays of…”?
I can’t remember the older ones, but this way can mean that 6 stays are required (1+2+3=6). Or not?

    • Highflyer

There was a similar promotion a few months ago. I stayed 3 times 2 nights in a hotel and I earned 10,000 bonus points in total.
If I read correclty, when you stay 3 times 2 nights in a hotel during this promotion you get 8,000 bonus points in total.

    • It is just unclear English. Probably translation from French. It is 8K bonus for 3 stays.

  • Herbert

Well, the address requirement disqualifies almost everyone, but good luck to the few who are able to take advantage of the promotion.

“Fantastic”? Imaginative or fanciful; remote from reality? (the real meaning of the word) Not a bad description really.

  • Tom B

If you use previous coupons to pay for stays, does it still count for this promotion?

    • Remember that you don’t earn points (usually) for the part that you settle using vouchers. Just make sure that you have some base spend as well.

      • losonn

Sounds like for a cheap 2 night Ibis stay you could use 2x 20€ vouchers and the stays should still credit correctly? 2x Ibis nights at >40€ = >80€ – 40€ in vouchers = >40€ final bill (which is greater than the 35€ mentioned above)?

  • AT

I change my address, register this offer and stay 2 night. Bonus points didn’t post despite the regular points and other promotion posted correctly.

I have the same issue. Not sure if anyone has had success for this?

      • Sven Luckermans

would be interested to know as well.. John can you give us an update perhaps?

        • I have no other advise to give than to contact Le Club Accorhotels and request them to post these manually.

          • losonn

Any more data points for these bonuses not posting correctly? Might have to cancel some upcoming stays…

If anyone has stays that *have* posted correctly could you add a data point?

          • losonn

First 2+ night stay booked after 7/15 just posted – no 1000 points bonus 🙁

          • Gringuito

Have you or anybody else contacted le club Accor about this issue ? I have my stays planned beginning of September…

          • losonn

Not yet. Give it a go and report back?

          • Gringuito

I have kept a screenshot of the registration, so I will use that in September if it is not working properly… Too bad Accor is not sending confirmation mails for promo registrations.

  • et

do you know after how long will they post the points after i complete the 3 stays? will the customer service bother to post points for me if I call them to get them to post points immediately so i can get my status for next stay?

    • They should post with the stays or within 24 hours after completing based on my experience with similar promos in the past.

I think T & C condition #5 is somehow misinterpreted in the article:

This offer entitles Le Club Accorhotels Loyalty members, regardless of their status, to benefit from earning for 1 stay of 2 nights and more = 1000 points, 2 stays of 2 nights and more = 2000 points, 3 stays of 2 nights and more = 5000 points in participating hotels worldwide.

I’ve had 3 stays of 2 nights and more since July 17th and checked out of an Ibis yesterday. No bonus for the 2 first stays but today the 3rd stay was credited and 5k points additional as “Summer bonus”. That, I believe, means that after my 3rd stay, fulfilling the T & C condition #5, they credited me with 5k points and not 8k as it could look like if you max’ed it out.

Anyone received the 1 or 2k bonus after their stays?

Now I just have to figure out how Accor will credit me the 9k points I’m missing from the May campaign, been 5 weeks back and forth with customer service now and I’m not giving up!

    • Bruno

Have you received the 1k and 2k bonus? If is not aplicable how to reach 160 euros as advertised by Accor? This promotions seems to be fail

    • Paasan69

Matter still not resolved. I do agree with others posting here that it clearly reads earn up to €160 which means 8k points. I’ve tried for the second time to get a response from Member Services at Accor but no luck so far.

I’d like to add that this is by far the slowest, most arrogant and worst customer service that I’ve ever encountered.

And the story about the June promotion is a chapter itself. I’ve decided to use other hotels until this 2 cases have been resolved.

And again, the arrogant customer reps at Accor are claiming that my first two stays are ineligible for this promotion! I’ve already been credited with the 5k points as should be for the third eligible stay so I don’t really understand how they can come to that conclusion. Nevertheless, I’ve complained and also let them know that I’m suspending further bookings until they resolve my two ongoing cases.

flyertalk does not have this offer in the accor club forum. why don’t you post this offer there and see if anyone ever earn their points? i don’t have an account in flyertalk and i don’t want to bother to create one otherwise i will ask there. several year ago, their customer service ignored me after numerous times i asked them to post my points via email, fax. so your chances of getting points is questionable. pls do post here if you do get your points.

Until now Accor always give bonus points for every stay. The promotion sounds ‘Earn up to € 160,- in Le Club Accorhotels Points on your next 3 stays!’. € 160,- means 8,000 bonus points! The fact that some members don’t receive their bonus points automatically may be a result of the address changing proces I think. I contacted the Accorhotels Customer Service at the moment that I wanted to change my address to a Scandinavian one. They explained to me that it will take some time when the new address is visible for the Customer Service. I suggest everyone who don’t receive their bonus points automatically to contact Accor and explain clearly that you MUST receive 8,000 bonus points as it is entitled in the name of the promotion!

I spend my first two nights in a hotel last weekend and I earned my points with the first 1,000 bonus points as well.

  • why

I got the first 1k points posted after 2 weeks, emailing to leclub back and forth. now for the second stay I spent 1 month emailing ut the points still not posted.

Do I have to check-out by Sep-13? Or check-in 13 and out 14 is okay?
