Air France-KLM’s Flying Blue frequent flier program turned 10 years and they have now extended the booking period of the special 50% off Promo Awards to celebrate the occasion.
These promo awards are available for booking December 1 – 20 for travel between January 15 – March 15, 2016.
You can access Flying Blue’s web page for Promo Awards here.
Here are the eligible routes:
You can also book these as one-way. These are not only for originating from Europe as all the destinations are valid for both directions. Flying Blue used to divide Europe to zones 1, 2 and 3, but seems to just use the designation EUROPE for all these from now on.
Note that Europe should include all the following countries:
Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg
Austria, Balearic Islands ,Finland, Denmark, Italy, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Spain , Sweden
Albania, Algeria, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Canary Islands, Croatia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Libya, Lithuania, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Poland, Romania, West Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Tunisia, Ukraine.
There are quite a few interesting destinations this time around, although only in economy class.
Europe to Atlanta, Boston, Houston, New York and Washington DC are just 12,500 miles each way. The fuel surcharges shouldn’t be brutal either. Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Sao Paulo are just 20,000 miles each one-way to/from Europe.
