Conclusion

Bangkok Airways has partnered with number of airlines that use them for connections in/around Thailand and nearby countries.

The partnership didn’t come as a surprise because Etihad Airways owns 50.1% of the JetPrivilege program and 24% of the Jet Airways. Etihad has been Bangkok Airways partner already for a while.

It is always good to have more partner airlines to earn and burn miles. The flights within Thailand are so cheap due to fierce competition that I cannot see any reason to burn miles for them.
