You can earn up to 100,000 bonus Ritz-Carlton Rewards points after ten nights between June 1 – September 30, 2016.

You can sign up for this promotion on Ritz-Carlton’s website here.

Remember that you can switch between Marriott Rewards and Ritz-Carlton Rewards accounts just calling the customer service. The account is practically the same.

Here’s how the bonus points stack up:

Only for Ritz or for general Marriott hotels?

I happen to have 2 stays of 8 nights coming up starting in June. This is a sweet bonus. Is there a way to get a second bonus after reaching 10 nights? Different account and then transfer points?

    • You shouldn’t have duplicate accounts. If you want to process doing something like that make sure that the addresses and emails are not same.

John, thank you for a great advice. I’m Marriott Gold and have never sign up for RC Rewards. I didn’t know you can switch labels just by calling.

Though I’m not sure about eligibility after switching labels, coz:
Members of The Ritz-Carlton Rewards as of April 22, 2016, and new members who were not previously members of the Marriott Rewards® program are eligible to receive this offer.

    • At least previously you have been able to sign up by calling customer service.

Thanks. TPG (and readers comments) writes that promo is targeted and people often get response they were not targeted, thus registration is not possible.

I would sign up a family member for RC Rewards and then try to sign up for the promo. If it works then I’ll try to switch my account. I’ll post follow up.

        • Nonsense. This promo is out in the open on Ritz-Carlton’s website. How could it be targeted?

I have been able to sign up for these promos in the past. You have to first switch your account to RC and then maybe calls once or twice. Haven’t tried this time around yet because I have not planned Ritz stays before June.
