Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) made an announcement about their yearly award category changes last month that will take place on March 7, 2017. This is your last chance to book properties at their current point rates.

There are total of 325 that will change in award category. 120 hotels will become more expensive using points while 205 hotels will require less.

You should check the list of hotels moving up and make a booking for those moving higher if you plan to stay at them. Doesn’t hurt to check the list of hotels requiring less points too. Perhaps there are surprises that you like!
