Here are the participating hotels:

Puerto Rico

The InterContinental hotels in both Cartagena and Santo Domingo are very good value at just 12,500 points per night. I could swear that the 50% off price should have been 17,500 but they are both pricing at just 12,500 this morning.

Just remember that this is off/shoulder season in many of these locations and paid rates can be rather low. Always compare.

Originally I booked 5 nights @ IC Cancun before the 50% off was announced. I thought IHG wasn’t going to do this Spring promo. I booked 1 night each for Wife & I w/ points & cash to meet our Accelerate terms. Booked another points & cash and we each used our Chase free nights. Cancelled the 2 Chase free nights this morning and 1 points and cash reservation. Our other 2 points & cash reservations were automatically reduced from 15K points & $83.20 to 5K points and $75. Our 1st night of the stay must be busy @ the hotel because the cash price is over $600. Our 5 night stay will cost $150 cash, 25K points and we will get 68.5K points from meeting our accelerate offers.

  • Guess who?

thanks John, but wait, no Montego Bay this time around? (Yup, our fav. HI Resort spot)

Ah, “no problem.” Will likely check out Cabo San Lucas this year.

    • Probably it is partially up to the hotels to decide if they participate or not.
