Delta Air Lines has launched their latest SkyMiles flash award sale and this time to destinations in the Caribbean and Florida.

SkyMiles members can redeem 20,000 SkyMiles for economy class travel between contiguous 48 states (T&Cs do include Alaska and Canada as well) from September 26 to November 14, 2017. You must book this offer by May 10.

Note that Delta has excluded Key West (EYQ) and Sarasota (SRQ) airport in Florida from this offer.

Conclusion

So, it is unclear if Canada and Alaska are included or not. They are not featured on the text but are included in the offer T&Cs.

As is often the case with Delta awards, it can be difficult to find availability at the flash sale level.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

Sale Award Tickets will be priced starting at 20,000 miles round trip (plus taxes and fees) to select destinations from the contiguous 48 United States, Alaska, and Canada to Florida (excluding EYW,SRQ) and Caribbean beach destinations (BDA, ELH, HAV, FPO, GCM, MHH, NAS, ANU, BGI, BON, GND, SKB, SXM) (DL-operated).

Some routes may include one or more segments operated with single cabin aircraft featuring Main Cabin service in place of Delta Comfort+®. Please check the itinerary for details and class of service.

Tickets | Tickets must be purchased no later than May 10, 2017 at delta.com.

Travel Period | Travel may begin on or after September 26, 2017 and all travel must be completed by November 14, 2017.

Award Travel | Award Travel is subject to government-imposed taxes and fees and carrier-imposed charges, which are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked. Taxes/fees/carrier-imposed charges depend upon the itinerary, and will range between $50 and $135 round-trip for Main Cabin and Delta One Cabin travel between the contiguous 48 United States, Alaska, and Canada to Florida (excluding EYW,SRQ) and Caribbean beach destinations (BDA, ELH, HAV, FPO, GCM, MHH, NAS, ANU, BGI, BON, GND, SKB, SXM) (DL-operated). Cancellations/Refunds/Changes | Tickets are nonrefundable except in accordance with Delta’s cancellation policy. Fees may apply for downgrades/reissues and itinerary changes. Contact a Delta agent or see Award Travel Rules for details. Award Ticket changes must be made at least 72 hours prior to the departure time of the flight being changed. Award Tickets booked within 72 hours of departure are nonrefundable and cannot be redeposited or reissued unless prohibited by local law or within the risk-free cancellation period. No changes will be permitted to the originating flight of Award Tickets booked within 72 hours, however changes to the return are permitted if the return flight is not within 72 hours and the change is made at least 72 hours prior to flight departure.  Fees apply for any changes. Taxes and fees will apply. Voluntary changes to Award Tickets after promotion has ended may result in an increase in mileage costs.

Baggage Charges | For travel between the contiguous 48 United States and Brazil, a $25 USD fee for the first checked bag and $40 USD fee for second checked bag may apply.  For travel between the contiguous 48 United States and Chile a $40 USD fee for second checked bag may apply. For travel between the contiguous 48 United States and Argentina a $40 USD fee for second checked bag may apply. For travel between the contiguous 48 United States and Peru a $40 USD fee for second checked bag may apply. Allowances are subject to size/weight limits.
