I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for 4pax each in the Holiday Inn Resort All Inclusive Los Cabos, for 17500 points each night/room, this a hell of a deal 😀

My son’s lives there, and his 15bday will be in october so this will be is Birthday gateway with all the cousins.

Very nice of you! Great idea and a great time for the kids.

Thank you, we did exactly the same thing last year but in the Holiday Inn Express in Cabo San Lucas. This year we will “upgrade” to an all-inclusive hotel. So they can drink all the non-alcohol piñas coladas they want.

    • Guess who?

Very nice gnuowened. Yet I’ve been hesitant about this place, as apparently its beach is closed to swimming. (as per their web site now) Is that true? Even wading? Is it that dangerous? Do they provide shuttles to any swimmable beaches in the area? (if there are any?)

You can wading, swimming is not recommended, tough. There is a lot of swimmable beaches around. From the hotel I will recommend: Santa María Bay, Chileno Bay, Palmilla Beach or even go to San Lucas to Medano’s Beach. I don’t know if they offer shuttle, but there is this very nice buses w/AC running from San José to Cabo That will drop you on does beaches by the highway. The hotel is kind of old but the service is good, it use to be an Intercontinental when I was young.

        • Guess who?

Many thanks for the suggestions gnuowned, including the bus tips. (I had a great experience with buses running the eastern Yucatan last year, local in Cancun and even to Playa del carmen.) We may be game to try Cabo area buses too. (though wish I knew more spanish)
