Airfare of the Day: SkyTeam (AF/DL/KL) Prague to Washington DC BUSINESS CLASS $1438 (Round Trip)

Today’s Airfare of the Day goes to SkyTeam Transatlantic alliance airlines (AF/DL/KL) and their Business Class advance purchase fares between Czech Republic and North America.

I first learned of this fare on FlyerTalk (access here):

  • Booking class: Z (Business Class)
  • Price: $1438 ($930 Base Fare + Taxes & Surcharges)
  • Flight restrictions: All segments must be on AF/DL/KL metal
  • Advanced reservation/ticketing restriction: Reservations for all sectors and ticketing are required at least 14 days before departure
  • Minimum stay requirements: 5 days or until first Sunday after departure
  • Maximum stay requirements: 3months after departure
  • Stopovers: No stopovers permitted
  • Transfers: 2 transfers permitted in each direction
  • Travel restrictions: Valid for travel commencing on/after 01 NOV 2017 and on/before 11 DEC 2017 – All travel must be completed by midnight on 26 DEC 2017
  • Sales restrictions: Tickets must be issued on/before 21 SEP 2017
  • Cancellations: Ticket is non-refundable

Conclusion

This fare is also being marketed by Alitalia (IPRCZ), but I’d stay clear of AZ marketed flights for the time being, especially after witnessing the painfully slow disintegration of AB. One World airlines (IB/BA/AY/AA) and Star Alliance airlines (UA/SN/LH/AC) have matched this fare in similar terms.
