Conclusion

All the hotel chains offer these dining and accommodation programs for members and hotels in the Asia-Pacific.

The main goal is to sell these to local residents to get them to use the hotel F&B outlets by discounting them quite a bit to a reasonable level. These packages usually come (this one as well) with a free night voucher thrown in as well.

The price of the Malaysia version (not listed on the website) is 688 MYR ($164). I would assume that the usage of the fee night certificate is capacity controlled at the InterContinental (everyone would like to use it there) and you need to book the flexible rate to use the second night free one.

There is similar program available for Singapore properties. If someone happens to have that benefit list available (the actual T&Cs), would be great to have it as well.
