Marriott Rewards launched their fall 2017 MegaBonus “Stay Twice Get a Free Night” back in early this month (read more here) and many members had trouble register for this offer (read more here) including myself).

Marriott Rewards Fall 2017 MegaBonus Unlock

Marriott Rewards members were supposed to received their additional bonus offer within two to three days after their second stay was posted that was then delayed until early this week (read more here). Seems that Marriott has now finally extended these offers.

You can check your personalized offer here (after logging to your account first).

Here’s my personalized offer:

Marriott Rewards Fall 2017 MegaBonus Unlock Mine

  • Registered members will earn 10,000 bonus points after 5 paid stays* plus an additional 1,000 bonus points for every additional paid stay during the Earning Period, at participating Marriott® properties.

Here’s one another offer:

  • Registered members will earn 4,000 bonus points after 2 paid stays* plus an additional 1,000 bonus points for every additional paid stay during the Earning Period, at participating Marriott® properties.

Note that these two offers had different expiration dates

Mine was:

  • Earning period starts the day after registration through January 15, 2018.

The other one:

  • Earning period starts the day after registration through the end of the month, plus an additional two (2) months.

Registration requirement:

Marriott Rewards members must register within two (2) weeks from the date the offer becomes available.

Conclusion

This looks pretty much like any other MegaBonus, although the maximum number of points earned (at least based on these two offers) is curtailed. You do have to keep in mind that everyone earned the free night cert for staying twice upfront.

Interesting to see if members were extended other offers and if those qualifying later are presented with other targeted promotions.
