Delta Air Lines released the other day 15 minute long “documentary” about the gulf carriers trying to inform its employees what is at stake.

 
The video certainly is one sided painting Delta as a saint and Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways as nothing but government run airlines hemorrhaging money and conspiring to “overthrow” the US carriers. [click to continue…]

The four airlines have a joint venture agreement on their North Atlantic routes since 2010, sharing revenue, costs and risks on these routes.

Delta Air Lines seems to be the most prolific of the US airlines that is continuing to blame the ME3 carriers for their own service issues and not being able to compete on certain routes where foreign airlines also fly.

Delta has the above advertisement on their inflight magazine claiming that 1,500 American jobs would be lost for every route that US airlines lose due to unfair competition from the gulf carriers. [click to continue…]

Passengers on board a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta to Washington DC were probably surprised when they were greeted personally by an elder statesman, namely former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.

About a year ago we wrote about a Delta Airlines flight that mistakenly landed at the wrong airport ,an Air Force base which was located just nearby it’s original destination.

The NTSB has now completed it’s investigation into the matter and concluded that the pilots are to blame for the snafu which left passengers stranded on the Air Force base for several hours. [click to continue…]

Delta Airlines just began the first steps of moving from Terminals 5 and 6 at Los Angeles International Airport in the late hours of Friday evening, expected to stretch over the next five days.

The relocation will impact 15 airlines during the one-week move period and Delta advises their passengers to arrive early for their flights which might indeed be a good idea. [click to continue…]
