Delta Air Lines has been tinkering with the number of SkyMiles required for partner awards that seems to have gone up anywhere from 15% to 20% without any prior warning from the airline.

American Airlines follows suit after the competition announced that complimentary food will return to limited domestic routes, in this case transcontinental flights between LAX/SFO and New York City.

Offering complimentary meals in Economy class has been discontinued over a decade ago by most if not all U.S. domestic airlines and just last month Delta made the start re-introducing it on transcon flights. [click to continue…]

Bloomberg News run an interesting piece yesterday about how petty Delta can be sometimes when trying to compete with ME3.

Delta is re-shuffling their intra-Asia route network and in the process has decided to close down their Taipei route which they have operated since 2010.
