IAG (parent of British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus & Vueling) today announced the name for its’ new Barcelona base low cost airline that will be called Level.

The new airline will initially fly to four destinations (Los Angeles, Oakland, Buenos Aires & Punta Cana) from Barcelona. The airline plans to offer services from other European cities as well. The two new Airbus A330 will be be manned by Iberia cabin and cockpit crew. [click to continue…]

IAG is wary of Norwegian that is starting to fly certain long-haul destination out from Barcelona in the Summer of 2017. The city is the base for IAG’s Spanish Vueling subsidiary.


To counteract this Norwegian’s expansion, IAG the parent of British Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Aer Lingus is now starting new long-haul low cost operation from the same city and hoping to offer short-haul transfer connectivity via Vueling. [click to continue…]

Yesterday, when I was trying to access Iberia’s website, I was presented with this “captcha” before I could even enter it.

Many airlines and hotel programs use Google’s various captcha products when one tries to access his/her account. I have never come across any other website that would require you to enter captcha before being able to access the home page. [click to continue…]
