Marriott Rewards has had an ongoing Refer-a-Friend program for as long as I can recall. They have now rebooted it, at least temporarily, under Reward-a-Friend.

Referred member can earn 2,000 bonus points for each of the first five stays done within 365 days after signing up through this program. Also, the referrer will get same bonus points for stays that referrer member consumes. [click to continue…]

Considering that the Marriott purchase of Starwood is about to close (expected before the end of this month), I thought that it would be time to revisit the Silver, Gold and Platinum lifetime status requirements.
