Club Carlson has a special rate plan for Gold and Concierge level members. Pay for Thursday night and get the Friday free or pay for Friday and get the Saturday free. This offer is capacity controlled and not available at all hotels. Offer is valid only in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
You can follow the link on the Club Carlson web page or you can simply input a promotional code RSGP1P1 when making the reservation. If there are hotels in the city with this rate plan loaded, they will show up on a search.
Here’s a search that I did for Prague
None of the two Club Carlson properties had this rate plan available for the dates in September I was searching for.
You can then easily open the availability calendar that shows the dates when the rates is available for two months at a time.
Then I chose November 9th to November 11th at the Radisson Blu property.
It shows the 125 euro rate for each of the nights.
But it does say under the terms and conditions that the second night is complimentary.
The lowest regular rate for the night in question is 100 euros per night, but this rate plan is discounted from the 125 BAR (Best Available Rate). Note that you need to clear the promotion code field to see ALL different rates for the days in question.
It is interesting that the 2 for 1 offer price is lower than the cash portion of the Points + Cash award.
Note that the 4 for 2 promotion correctly prices out the four nights; two first nights at the full price and the following two at zero.
Conclusion
Both the 2 for 1 and 4 for 2 rate promotions offer great value for Club Carlson Gold and Concierge members in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. You should always check to see if any of these two rate plans are available for your weekend stay.
