Is there a list of participating hotels?
There is no exclusion list so I would expect this to be valid at all Hilton locations. It appears to be an “airline acquisition” promo, where Hilton tries to get BA frequent fliers to sign up for Hilton HHonors program,but the sweetener is open for current members as well.
According to T&C: Only stays booked after registration will be eligible for bonus Avios.
As long as you register before the deadline, the promo Avios is valid until the end of 2013 per the terms and conditions. For sure you have one Hilton stay before December 31, 2013?
I don’t stay at Hilton as often since im SPG Plat and only HH Gold. I just happens that I have a stay in Nov at Hilton and wanted the Avios for a AA shorthaul in Dec. I guess i can ask at checkin if they can cancel and rebook.

Any tips on getting this promo for stays that were made prior to registering? Rooms are sold out for a stay otherwise I would cancel and rebook. ie, does changing the # of people qualify as a new reservation date?
This promotion is only good for ONE stay. If you have STAYS coming, you only need to change one.
1. Register for the BA promotions.
2. Make sure that you Double Dip-option is set to Points + Miles when you stay is. You then need to choose either fixed or variable miles.
3. The option that you made at the time of reservation may show up on the folio. Ask the agent at the hotel to switch the airline partner to British Airways and give your number. Make sure that your BA FF is on the folio
This is all you need to do to ensure that the stay posts correctly. Hilton’s promotion don’t usually require that the reservation is made after registration to the promotion.
