For stays that you eligible folio amount is greater than $500, you should choose the variable miles option unless your stay is at Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites or Home2 Suites. If the folio is less, choose fixed miles.
For stays at Hampton Inn or Homewood suites hotels, the variable miles option is better if your eligible folio amount is greater than $100. At Home2 Suites locations the best option is fixed miles (100) as the variable miles are capped at the same amount.
