This is the third time I am writing about this award sale. Club Carlson had first the old list out, then corrected it and had a very short list of available properties. Now, the list of participating properties is rather reasonable.
Booking discounted award
All you need to do is to make sure that the hotel in on the participating list and use the promotional code 50REDEEM when making the reservation. The system will then automatically display the lower promotional award and regular priced ones.

These Club Carlson award sales are great if they fit your travel plans. Obviously, these are offered at off season, when the hotels are not expecting full occupancy.
