On Sunday, I wrote about the change in wording on the website for Royal Ambassador website that indicated and still does that the complimentary Royal Ambassador referral certificates would be gone and replaced by paid referrals.
Today, an InterContinental Hotels Group employee (confirmed by the email address) left the following reply to the original blog post:
It appears that the new wording on the recently launched website is incorrect and that the Royal Ambassador referrals are not going away.
All these programs should be very careful when it comes to wording used on their websites. The text that InterContinental still has on their Royal Ambassador site does indicate that referrals would be paid.
