I have had the Platinum status by request available for the past few months and it still is. This link that I posted about a month ago back in December is still alive (to my surprise). These public links usually tend to die within a day or two. Even if you have no use for Le Club Accorhotels Platinum status, you can always use it to status match to i.e. Club Carlson or Priority Club Platinum status.

I signed up for the Platinum status last year and have had few Accor stays. The Mercure hotel in Nadi was not great, but the Novotel hotel in Lami Bay was actually nice. During my stay at the Hotel Muse, MGallery collection hotel, in Bangkok I even received a Platinum gift that was a shirt. The Pullman hotel in Bali is good one too.
