Second Waive Of Iberia Flight Cancellations Due To Strike This Week

This is the second of the three five day strikes that the employees of the Iberia have planned for February & March. If you have flights with Iberia this week, you should check that the flights are operating. Iberia has a list day by day of the canceled flights that you can access here.

These strikes can have effect on other airlines’ flights in/out from Spain as well, as Iberia does quite a bit of ground handling. Most of the canceled flights are short haul ones, although there is one/two long haul flights that are canceled each day.

Note that you are eligible for the care per EU regulations i.e. hotel accommodation or rebooking on other airlines. You need to contact Iberia to arrange these.

Check your flights in/out from Spain this week even if you are not flying on Iberia. The next strike period should start on march 18. Iberia has not yet published a list of flights that will be canceled during that strike period.
