Buy Priority Club Points And Get Up To 50% Bonus

Priority Club has a new promotion for buying points. You an get up to 50% bonus between March 6 and April 6, 2013. The price of a point under this offer is 0.77 cents each. You can access this offer here.

The maximum number of points you can buy and receive as a gift are both capped at 50K points in a calendar year. The bonus points do not count towards this cap.

Purchased points used to count towards reaching Gold or Platinum status as recently as this past January. Here’s my piece about it. There has been reports that these would no longer post as qualifying points for status qualification purposes, however.

You can also “purchase” unlimited number of Priority Club points by doing Points & Cash reservation(s). Priority Club essentially sells you 10K points for $70. When you cancel a Points & Cash reservation, the purchase of points is not reversed.

This is not a bad offer for buying Priority Club points IF you can use the points at otherwise expensive location. Just remember that most of the status related benefits don’t officially apply for award nights with Priority Club.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

Offer available for purchases made between March 6 and April 6, 2013 inclusive. Bonus points will be awarded upon completion of the transaction. Bonus points will be awarded to the recipient of the points purchase. Offer is subject to change. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer. Only purchases made online are eligible for the bonus.

Price includes all applicable fees. Purchased Points are not refundable and are applicable toward all Priority Club® Rewards awards. Members may purchase a maximum of 50,000 points per calendar year and receive as a gift a maximum of 50,000 points per year. Please allow 24-48 hours for points to post to appear in the recipient’s account. All other Priority Club® Rewards Terms and Conditions apply.
