Fairmont President’s Club Certificates Now Transferable For Platinum Members

Fairmont President’s Club moved to entirely electronic certificates starting on its 2013 membership year and this has brought a new benefit for its Platinum members; the transferability of certificates to “immediate” family members.

When you access your certificates online, there is a hyperlink to “Transfer Certificate(s)”.

This will just generate a pop up that requests the other member’s FPC number and the name.

You will then have to choose the certificates that you wish to transfer.

You will then have to confirm the certificates that you are transferring between accounts. Note that I didn’t go forward at this points, so cannot confirm if the transfer of these certificates is instantaneous.

Per the terms and conditions of the programs, the transfer of these certificates is only a benefit for Platinum members. These can only be transferred to immediate family members.

It is nice benefit that these certificates have become transferable between accounts for Platinum members. I just had most of my 2012 certificates, besides the complimentary night one, expire.
