Lufthansa Strike Leading To 500+ Flight Cancellations On Thursday

Lufthansa has released a list of flights that are going to be canceled on Thursday due to industrial action taken by its employee union. You can access a list of canceled flights on Lufthansa’s website here. You can read more about this strike on Financial Times article here.


Most of the canceled flights are short haul flights. The only canceled long-haul flights is from Beijing.


If you are holding a ticket for one of the canceled flights, you should check first with My Bookings if you have been automatically rebooked. You can also opt for a full refund in case of flight cancellation. You can read more about your options on Lufthansa’s website here.


This strike is relatively short and shouldn’t affect any of the long-haul flights besides the Beijing one.
