Country Inns & Suites Getting A Facelift

While we are waiting for the Club Carlson’s announcement about their next promotion, it is good time to have a look at the Country Inns & Suites that are going to get a facelift to attract younger clientele. There was a piece about this new development on the USA Today that you can access here.

Carlson hotels has close to 500 Country Inns & Suites and most of them are in North America. I have never set my foot inside this Carlson brand, but I have seen few of them outside in the United States.

Country Inns & Suites is a mid-market brand that has complimentary breakfast and free wifi access. Have you stayed at this Carlson brand and what has been your experience?

There is lot of competition between mid-market brands and Country Inns & Suites has never been on my radar to stay, although I considered them during one of the promo rounds to collect some bonus points.

If they can get all the property owners to update the hotels to live up to the new mock ups that are available on that USA Today article and on their own website here, I wouldn’t mind staying for a quick overnight.
