Quadruple Hilton HHonors Points At Tropicana This Summer

Hilton HHonors has been sending out emails for quadruple points at the newly Hilton affiliated Tropicana hotel in Las Vegas for stays this summer between May 1 and August 31, 2013.

You need to request rate plan PK1, when making the reservation at Hilton.com. It won’t automatically bring up this rate otherwise. You can access Hilton’s web page for this promotion here.

It then brings up the rate and all the other rates that you request. It seems that the quadruple points offer is tied to the Best Flexible Rate and the double points offer rate is $5 more expensive than quadruple one.

Thing to note here is that Tropicana now charges a mandatory scam (resort) charge of $19.99 per day and you won’t earn points on that.

Fitness center access and complimentary internet are Hilton HHonors Gold and Diamond level benefits. 50% discount on well booze and beer/wine during happy hour?

You can read more about resort charges here and recent changes on Hilton HHonors terms and conditions about them here.

This is not a bad offer and you can combine it with other system-wide Hilton HHonors offers. I just hate these fake resort charges that hotels have started to collect due to being able to show lower headline prices.
