Club Carlson has new terms and conditions up on its website that take effect on June 1, 2013. The only change that I found comparing the previous terms and conditions (still available on Google’s cache) and the the ones is the transferability of Gold Points between accounts.
Until now, you have been able to transfer points between accounts freely by just contacting the Club Carlson’s customer service.
Current (May 31) Transferability of Gold Points
New (June 1) Transferability of Gold Points
Starting on June 1, the transferability is restricted on non-elite (RED) accounts that have been open less than a year (must be at least year old) and the addresses on both accounts must have been the same for at least for the previous 30 days.
These restrictions do not apply for Silver, Gold, or Concierge accounts. Considering that it is extremely easy to get Club Carlson Gold by just matching a Platinum Le Club Accorhotels account (read more about Club Carlson status match here), this terms and conditions change shouldn’t really affect too many.
This is not a drastic change in terms and conditions, but will potentially make moving small amounts of points out from non-elite accounts more difficult. This must be the Club Carlson’s goal.
