American Airlines has an offer out for a maximum of 30% bonus on shared miles for sharing more than 41,000 miles at a time. You can access this offer on AA’s website here.
You have to pay for moving the miles between accounts and American will just add the bonus miles in top of the transferred miles.
Buying miles under this offer makes no sense at all because they would be priced at 3.9 cents per newly minted mile.
Taking advantage of this offer makes absolutely no sense at all. You would be paying 3.9 cents per new mile under this promotion. Way too expensive.
