Ritz-Carlton Rewards Summer 2013 Promotion: Free Night Certificate For Every Two Stays

Ritz-Carlton Rewards has just announced their summer 2013 promotion that is a free night certificate that is valid at tier 1-3 Ritz-Carlton hotels for every two stays between July 1 and October 31, 2013.

You can earn maximum of 2 free nights certificate under this promotion. You need to register for this promotion prior to your stay and you can do it here.

Previously, you could only register for these promotions, if you had Ritz-Carlton Rewards account set up before the promotion was announced. This time, however, this is no longer required.

The terms and conditions indicate that this would be a targeted offer, but I doubt that this would be the case, as it is featured on Ritz-Carlton’s home page. These certificates are valid for 12 months after earning them.

Here’s list of Ritz-Carlton (and Marriott Rewards) Tier 1, 2 and 3 properties (you can access the list on RC’s website here):

This is a very good offer for those that stay at Ritz-Carlton properties. The usual number of points required for a free night at tier 1 is 30,000 points, tier 2 requirement is 40,000 points and tier 3 requires 50,000 points.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

Registration is required. The Ritz – Carlton Rewards® members who register for this promotion by September 30, 2013, will earn one certificate for a complimentary night at a Tier 1-3 hotel after the completion of two paid stays at participating Ritz – Carlton hotels between July 1 and October 31, 2013, up to a maximum of two complimentary night certificates. A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. An earned complimentary night award will be added to the member’s account within 3-5 business days after the second qualifying stay. Awards are not transferable and may not be given as a gift. The member receiving this offer has been specifically targeted. Certificates will expire one year from date of issuance and other restrictions apply. Only one room per hotel per stay is counted toward earning for this promotion. Promotion excludes The Ritz – Carlton, Millennia Singapore; Ritz – Carlton, Montreal; Phulay Bay; Dorado Beach; The Ritz – Carlton Destination Club;® The Ritz – Carlton Residences;® and Partner Hotels. Members of The Ritz – Carlton Rewards program as of June 4, 2013, and new members who were not previously members of the Marriott Rewards® program are eligible to receive this offer. Offer is non-transferable, subject to availability, does not apply to groups, and cannot be combined with any other offer. All Ritz – Carlton Rewards terms and conditions apply.

  1. Hi John, based on your previous experience, could this offer be overlapped with the Megabonus offer? ie, two stays in a Ritz before 1st Sep, could it yield a Marriott free night, as well as a Ritz one? Thanks.

    • Doesn’t work that way. You need to have your account set up as Ritz-Carlton Rewards one to take advantage of this offer and Marriott Rewards one for the Unexpected bonus.

You could likely do the Unexpected Bonus free night certs promos first and then change your account to RItz-Carlton one and fulfill this promotion. That is what I am planning of doing.

  2. […] Zitat von alexanderxl Das ist eine spezielle Ritz-Charlton Aktion? Oder meinst du eine Marriott Aktion? Informationen zur Promo findest du beispielsweise hier: Ritz-Carlton Rewards Summer 2013 Promotion: Free Night Certificate For Every Two Stays | LoyaltyLobb… […]

  3. this offer isn’t available to MR members even if you enroll in RitzCarlton rewards program, get a RC #, and reserve via RC site. fine print says you can not be a MR members to be eligible for this promo:(

    • You can switch between Marriott Rewards and Ritz-Carlton Rewards just by calling the rewards customer service. It is true that you are not allowed to have both accounts, but you can freely switch between two.

  4. Not being a Ritz member I registered for an account and then added my membership number to the promo page. But I was rejected with the following message:

“Our records indicate that you are not
eligible for the Enjoy More promotion. If you believe you have received
this message in error or have any questions, please contact The
Ritz-Carlton Rewards® Guest Services Team for assistance”

Just thought Id let you know.
