Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus 50% Off Awards Sale


Thai Airways is celebrating the 20th anniversary of having Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer program by offering 50% off award sale on most of its international routes for between June 17 and October 31, 2013, that are booked by July 31.


Royal Orchid Plus members can already start booking these 50% off awards that are available for all members starting on June 17. You can access Thai’s web page for this offer here.

SPG’s Unannounced Category Creep Continues: Case Four Points LAX


Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) continues to up the award categories of its hotel portfolio mid-year and unannounced.


This time the award category of the popular Four Points Los Angeles International Airport has changed during the past 24 hours from category 2 to category 3.

Qatar Airways Award Discount Up To 50% – Requires Premium Fare Purchase

Qatar Airways has a promotion for up to 50% award discount that requires buying a premium fare out from Doha between June 2 – 24 or July 6 – 31, 2013. You are then eligible for award discount of 10%, 25%, or 50% depending of the destination of the paid ticket.


The award ticket discount is valid for ticket issued between August 8 to September 30, 2013, for travel as far out as Qatar has released award inventory. This offer is valid only for Privilege Club members that has their account address in Qatar. You can access this offer on Qatar’s website here.

British Airways Reward Flight Savers Becoming Less Rewarding – Fees Rising Again & Totally Gone On Iberia


British Airways made an update to its website today about the rising fees of its Reward Flight Savers and that the discontinuance of them altogether on Iberia flights starting on July 11, 2013. The fees on Comair operated flights within South Africa will rise on July 1, 2013.
