Getting cashback for Hilton bookings hasn’t been too easy, as it seems that they are not available in most of the usual cashback websites. I wrote a piece last month, when TopCashback UK started offering 5% cashback for Hilton stays in form of Tesco Clubcard points (that you can later convert to BA Avios) that you can access here.
Now, UK based websites Quidco is offering 13% cashback for those that book the Hilton’s Great Getaway (you can read more about this sale here) rate plans for stays in EMEA by the end of this week for stays up until the end of the year. Note that you need to have a UK bank account, if the payment is more than 25 GBP. Payments less than that can be paid to your PayPal account.
Another UK based website TopCashback UK (they have US version as well but no Hilton available there) has 5% cashback rate for Hilton bookings. Note that they cannot pay this in cash, but will rather convert them to Tesco Clubcard points that you can later move to British Airways Avios. I will write a piece about this Topcashback UK to Tesco to BA Avios at later time.
If you use any rate plans that are non-commisionable, you won’t earn cashback for your stay. Non-commisionable rate plans are usually those that requires you to plug in a discount rate plan such as MVP, Little League, UK Public Sector, Corporate Benefits Employee offer etc.
I had one Hilton stay recently, where I didn’t use any of these rate plans, and it is tracking just right on TopCashback.
It is bit convoluted to earn cashback for Hilton stays, but it can be done via these two websites, when you are not using any of the discount rate plans.
LoyaltyLobby may get a referral if you signed up for these two services using the links above.
