Asiana Offering $10K Towards Crash Survivors’ Expenses

When I was watching the BBC last night, I saw a segment about Asiana offering $10,000 for each of the passengers on the ill fated flight from Seoul to San Francisco that crashed in San Francisco last month.

Asiana is now paying an initial compensation of $10,000 for each of the passengers that are not required to waive any rights to pursue Asiana later in the court.

There is more about this on the Bloomberg article that you can access here.

The fact that this crash happened in the United States will likely make Asiana liable for far greater final compensation than this $10K pocket money.
