Freddie Awards MilePoint Premium-Offer (Hilton HHonors Gold Status For $49.95)

LoyaltyLobby reader forwarded me an email he had received after voting for Freddie Awards earlier in the year that was offering a MilePoint Premium-membership for $49.95. The reader wanted to get my opinion about this product.

As a matter of fact, I already covered this product on my piece that I wrote about it on October 11, 2013 (you can access it here).

The main benefit is the Hilton HHonors Gold status that would be valid until February 28, 2015. You can now get the same Hyatt Gift Card discount by buying them directly from Hyatt (read more here). The value of the 1,000 United miles is $15 to $20, if you collect them.

You can access this MilePoint Premium offer here.

I decided to have a look at what Freddie Awards privacy policy says about sending emails offers that are unrelated to the voting:

Seems that the offer email has been sent in violation of the disclosed usage of the email addresses collected during the voting process.

If you have need for Hilton HHonors Gold status, this is the easiest way to get it and won’t break your bank.

It is surprising (or maybe not) that the people behind the Freddie Awards are using the emails addresses in a manner that is in violation of their disclosed Privacy Policy.
