American Airlines has launched a promotion to celebrate the launch of the new transcontinental service between New York and Los Angeles on board Airbus A321T (you can read more about this plane type here).
You can earn 5,000 to 15,000 bonus miles per round trip depending on your ticketed fare class between January 7 and March 31, 2014.
Note that the fares on deeply discounted economy (O and Q) are excluded from this offer. You need to register for this promotion (access here) to be eligible for the bonus miles.
American Airlines is the only airline offering three class service between Los Angeles and New York. It was about the time for AA to start retiring those old three class 767’s serving this route.

AAdvantage bonus mile offer is valid for round-trip travel on American Airlines marketed and operated nonstop flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles from January 7, 2014, through March 31, 2014. Half the bonus shown will be awarded for one-way travel. Offer applies only to AAdvantage members who purchase and fly on eligible published fare tickets (excludes fares beginning with O and Q). Bonus miles will be awarded based on the booking class purchased. Registration prior to travel is required.
