Hilton HHonors Terms & Conditions Update: “High Speed” Internet Access No Longer Gold Or Diamond Benefit

Hilton HHonors has made a small but significant change to its Terms and conditions effective December 11, 2013.

Seems that Hilton properties maybe about to introduce tiered internet access and the “high speed” one would no longer be complimentary for Hilton HHonors Gold or Diamond members.

The word “high speed” has been removed from both Gold and Diamond members. This means that as long as the hotel has an internet access, regardless how crappy that might be, they would not violate the member benefit terms and conditions.

You can access Hilton HHonors Terms and conditions here.

I am almost certain that this will mean that some, if not all, properties will introduce a tiered internet product and only the base level will be complimentary for Gold and Diamond members. Let’s hope that my hunch is wrong.
