Hyatt Gold Passport made an announcement (read more here) back on November 11, 2013, about the changes to its award chart and hotel categories that would take effect on January 7, 2014.
You have until tonight to book at the old rates and you can modify reservations until February 15, 2014, without having to pay more in points.

Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo up by 50%
Hyatt Regency Osaka up by 50%
Grand Hyatt Melbourne up by up by 25%
Hyatt Regency Cambridge up by 25%
Hyatt Regency Louisville up by 25%
Hyatt Regency Perth up by 25%
Andaz West Hollywood up by 33%
Hyatt Chicago Magnificent Mile up by 33%
Park Hyatt Melbourne up by 33%
Andaz Liverpool Street London up by 39%
Hyatt 48 Lex up by 39%
Hyatt Union Square up by 39%
Park Hyatt Beaver Creek up by 36%
Park Hyatt Milan up by 36%
Park Hyatt Paris Vendome up by 36%
Park Hyatt Sydney up by 36%
Park Hyatt Tokyo up by 36%
Park Hyatt Zurich up by 36%
The change in number of points required for club rooms and suites is even higher. Also, if you tend to use points for club rooms or suites from paid rates, the number of required points goes up by 300%.
Seems that I have redeemed for 7 of the 19 properties that I have listed above going up. There are some Hyatt Places that have gone up as well, but I would never consider using points for them anyway. I have stayed at 3 of the properties moving down but don’t remember using points for any of them.
As always, the properties worth redeeming are going up by 30% to 50% and the ones going down you should be paying for in cash anyway.
