Delta has very lucrative Platinum fast track offer for targeted members in the New York area

Delta is offering Platinum status and Sky Club access for 60 days after registering for this offer by March 31, 2014. But that is not all.

You can access this offer on Delta’s website here. I learned about this offer on FlyerTalk post (access here).

If you purchase and fly one BusinessElite published fare flight during the 60 day period, Delta will:

– Extend the Platinum status through February, 2015

– Give additional 10 months of Sky Club membership

– Give 100,000 bonus SkyMiles

Note that the terms and conditions only refer to a flight. You don’t even have to buy a return on BusinessElite, although return tickets are often less expensive than one-ways.

Conclusion

American Airlines has had very lucrative targeted (and sometimes open too) offers for all the way to Executive Platinum status.

Delta is obviously trying to lure in passengers that buy business class long-haul flights by extending this targeted offer to them. Giving 100,000 bonus miles, Platinum status and Sky Club access both for a year is a very good offer.

You should be able to find an eligible BusinessElite return itinerary for $2K or less that would fulfill this challenge requirement.
