Qatar Airways has a new worldwide 3-day sale at up to 30% off for travel between January 26 and December 17, 2014, that are booked January 20-23, 2014.

The offer is valid both for economy and business class return tickets.

The blackout dates are July 24 to September13, 2014. The offer is not valid for itineraries originating from Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, United Kingdom, Philadelphia (United States) and flights between Denpasar/Bali and Singapore, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires.

Conclusion

Qatar usually has quite a good fares during these sales or when they have companion offers around. If you planning a trip that could include Qatar Airways, you should check the fares during these sales.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

  • Sales period: 20th – 22nd January 2014
  • Travel period: 26th January until 31st March 2014 and 1st April until 17th December 2014. All travel must be completed by 17th December 2014.
  • Blackout dates (travel not allowed):
    – 24th July – 13th September 2014
  • Valid on Qatar Airways operated flights, with the following exceptions:
    – All itineraries originating from Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, United Kingdom, Philadelphia (United States)
    – Flights between Denpasar/Bali and Singapore, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires.
  • Minimum stay: 3 days, with the exception of all itineraries to Doha as a final destination (excluding transit in Doha) which will require a minimum stay of 5 days.
  • Maximum stay: 3 months
  • Business Class tickets must be purchased at least 5 days in advance of travel.
  • Discount applies to instant purchases only.
  • Discount applies to Economy and Business Class return tickets. For flights where Business Class is not operated, First Class is applicable.
  • Seats are limited and are subject to availability of the relevant booking class: O and Q for Economy, I and A for Business and First Class travel.
  • Fares include all applicable discounts, fees, taxes and airport charges. Service fees may apply for tickets purchased at Qatar Airways sales offices or through travel agents.
  • Tickets are non-endorsable and non-transferable.
  • Other than itineraries originating from Brazil, Korea, and Iran, changes are allowed at a penalty of USD 250 (USD 100 for intra-Middle East itineraries^, and short-haul direct flights not via Doha) on top of any fare differences. Cancellations before or after departures are non-refundable. In case of no-show, ticket has no value for use on any other service, and it is non-refundable, non-changeable and non-bookable.
  • For itineraries originating from Brazil, changes are allowed at a penalty of USD 250 on top of any fare differences. Cancellations before departures are refundable for a fee of USD 300. Cancellations after depatures are non-refundable. In case of no-show, ticket has no value for use on any other service, and it is non-refundable, non-changeable and non-bookable.
  • For itineraries originating from Korea, changes are allowed at a penalty of KRW 100,000 on top of any fare differences. Cancellations before departure are refundable for a fee of KRW 300,000. Cancellations after departure are non-refundable. In case of no-show, a no-show fee of KRW 300,000 will be applied on top of the change or refund fee.
  • For itineraries originating from Iran, changes are allowed at a penalty of USD 50 on top of any fare differences. Cancellations before or after departures are refundable for a fee of USD 50. In case of no-show, a no-show fee of USD 100 will be applied on top of the change or refund fee.
  • Stopover is not permitted.
  • Upgrade to higher class/cabin using Qmiles or Qpoints is not permitted.
  • Standard child/infant discount apply.
