Le Club Accorhotels Points Devalued By 10% (USD Vouchers Gone On March 25, 2014)

Le Club Accorhotels has a points based program and you can (for now) redeem 2,000 points towards 40 Euro or 60 USD hotel voucher.

Le Club Accorhotels has now decided to retire the USD vouchers altogether starting on March 25, 2014.

The information was buried on an email and the link for more information only ends up on a non-existent web page (access the non-working link here). Note that this change does apply to both hotel and partner vouchers.

Conclusion

There is absolutely no information about this upcoming change on Le Club Accorhotels’ website.

Obviously the value of USD and Euro change, but at the current exchange rates this results around 10% devaluation.
